My 'tryst' with cooking

Cooking is an art....says quite a few people...and I am trying to fall in love with this so called art.
Yea right. I hate cooking....well wait..hate is a serious, deep feeling...no i just dislike it.
To me eating is a process required for the survival of human body... Hate me for this...but....I don't find anything incredible about it....or maybe this is just a phase and I need to overcome it.
So help me out guys...help me fall in love with cooking....

I cook 'cause I like the idea of preparing food with my own hands for my kids....I feel there's an emotional bond that forms between a mother and child when she cooks for her child... But that's about it...I need to fall in love with things I do...

So here I am forcing a tryst with cooking :D

So maybe I hate the idea of eating....you know
Wake up in the morning...Eat.
Oh! its afternoon, we gotta eat again.
And it dinner....let's grab those plates.....
and of course the never ending snacks in between...

I don't mean to sound ungrateful...I am very much thankful for the food provided. Alhamdulillah....
but I guess.....its spending that time in kitchen that irks me.....or maybe I am too lazy to cook. Naah...I do it anyway....so maybe its not about being lazy......its about just liking something.... You know how you just can't like someone...or some stuff.....for no reason at all.....that's me with cooking...
For no reason at all....

So..ladies,
HELP me fall in love with the most amazing, essential part our lives- Cooking.

'That' Place

You must be wondering what's this trash talk is all about....
Well...we all ladies love to stay at our parent's for obvious reasons...I am just shouting out here as to why so ;)..
So cuddle up that pillow and agree with a smile :)

1. Pampering
We girls love to be pampered...no matter what age. (I guarantee you that).
And who else can pamper you more than your parents?! This specially goes beyond limits once you are married..and we so miss that otherwise.....
You are asked for your favourite food, you are free to be you and you are the star of their eyes (awwwwwww and wow)

2. 'Those days'
And then in your periods, you can throw tantrums, sleep all day and rest, rest, rest for all the rest in the world that you want to do.......MINUS criticism, with a bonus of love, comfort and hot chocolates (yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm) whereas at other places you would just forget hat's happening..coz you can't afford to get noticed...and keep telling yourself sabko hota hai...sab kaam karte...like DUH!

3.ATS , AWS, ALS
Heard of this before? Maybe not! But ya, you have definitely experienced this before:
ATS - Anytime Sleep
AWS - Anywhere Sleep
ALS - Anylong Sleep
LOL

4. Sick Day leave
If you are sick...you can not only rest but also enjoy the pure bliss of hospitality and zero tension atmosphere. Its like "peace" in the air!! You are not only instructed to rest but also everything else is taken care of. Parents are truly sent from heaven. :*

5.Appreciation
You are thanked for even picking up a glass from the dining table. and that feels ...aww wow! Let's accept as adults for the responsibilities that we hold...are supposed to fulfill usually go so unnoticed that its not even a matter of pride of accomplishment anymore.. Remember back in the day..how your parents appreciated you for every little task you did. As a grown up...no you don't expect that but you know deep deep down.....you want that. And we soooo miss that! :(

Smile if you agree :)
