They were bright!
She's just 3+..and I really don't care if she colours the banana green or the apple orange.. lol! really
To me..as an artist it is important to express yourself. You don't have to fall in line with what is, what should be...but more of what can be. Its about freedom of expression...
So i took a very important decision for myself and for her...my daughter.
I will show her the colours of life.
The rainbow and the grey. The blue and the yellow. The black and white.
But I will let her decide how she wants to paint the canvas of her life. Because at the end she has to paint her own picture of life...
I can teach her basic stuff...of how she can blend these colours or overlap them or give them texture and beautify them.
I can guide her to choose wisely of how she wants to see her life.....
she can have more of bright colours and less of grey....or more of grey and less of bright....It will ultimately depend on how she wants to see her life.
But I will set her free....for I know of all the values that In sha Allah she will be taught...and of the constant guidance from Allah taala she will be...I pray...wise enough to decide her colours of life..
It won't make a difference because she is a girl. She is free to pursue a career or take decisions for her life...just the kind of liberty her brother might enjoy.
I will trust her decisions and let her voice her opinions
I will guide her by Allah's will
...but at the end
it will be her choice!
